Quick Dry Decking Oil

A water based, low odour, hard-wearing, water resistant oil that enhances the colour of the decking. For use on bare or previously finished composite or wooden decking. It contains UV light inhibitors that protect the Decking Oil from sunlight and can be applied whilst the decking is still damp. Use on composite, hardwood or softwood decking, it will leave a hard-wearing satin finish.

Product Application Guide

Quick Dry Decking Oil is water-based readymade exterior deck protective coating in natural and available colors with gloss finish. It can be used on wooden composite, natural hard and soft woods.

Step-1
  • If the surface is already painted or polished, remove with the help of paint remover or sand paper till the actual wood comes in a condition to absorb the readymade polish.
  • If required, first sand the surface with 80 no., and thereafter with 120 no., 320 no. water proof sandpaper.
  • All sanding to be done in the direction of the grains of the wood.
Step-2
  • - First Coat: Stir well and apply the material with a soft brush (paint brush), roller or spray gun on the well prepared surface in the direction of the grains of the wood. (If surface temperature is more than 380C then add 10% potable water)
  • Let it dry for at least 3 hours.
  • If require do the soft sanding with more than 600 no. waterproof sandpaper to remove the superficial particles. All sanding should be done in the direction of the grains.
Step-3

Second Coat: Apply second coat of material with a soft brush, roller or gun. If surface temperature is more than 380C then add 10% potable water in second coat also.

  • Note: - The consumption may vary due to porosity of substrate, so for huge surface a trial is required.
  • The all application will be done towards the direction of wood gain
  • For Deck, the light foot traffic after 24 hours and full load after 72 hours.
